Really? *Really?*

The premiere left me absolutely cold.  And irritated.  And eager to get back to playing Resident Evil 6.

I know the show's been going downhill for a while, but I had hopes with the change in head writer, and switching to Wednesday night...not super high hopes, yet I was still left completely underwhelmed.  Even last season had an awesome premiere.

That was the most lackluster season premiere I've ever seen, for any show.  All I could think, while watching it, was that they finally ruined SPN for good.  And my husband kept wanting to know when Sam and Dean became boring characters.  Disjointed, uninteresting characters, uninteresting plot, retreading old territory, and perhaps worst of all, imo, Sam and Dean felt out of character. Especially Sam.  He has some explaining to do.  He didn't even *look* for his brother?  After everything the two have obsessively done for each other over the previous 7 seasons...?  

Bleh.  Maybe it will improve...I'll keep watching either way, if nothing more than to drool over Jared Padalecki. (Though he really needs to shave better.)
